The Everest Skydive is, quite simply, the most exclusive and extraordinary skydiving experience on Earth. Jumping from a helicopter at 23,000 feet (7,010 meters) with Mount Everest — the highest point on the planet — as your backdrop, this is an adventure reserved for those who seek experiences beyond the ordinary.
This isn't just a skydive; it's a 10-day expedition that takes you deep into the Khumbu region. You'll trek to acclimatization camps, stay in Sherpa villages, and finally make your jump from Syangboche near Ama Dablam — one of the most beautiful mountains in the world — with Everest towering in the background.
Only a handful of people each year complete this jump. The experience combines high-altitude mountaineering culture, Sherpa hospitality, and the most extreme sport in the most extreme environment. It's not for everyone — but for those who do it, life is never quite the same.
The Everest Skydive operates only during a short weather window in October-November each year, with very limited spots available. Booking must typically be made 6-12 months in advance. Contact us early if you're interested in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Days 1-2: Arrive in Kathmandu. Welcome dinner with fellow jumpers and expedition briefing. Equipment distribution and final preparations.
Days 3-4: Fly to Lukla and trek to Namche Bazaar. Begin your acclimatization in the legendary Sherpa capital. First glimpses of the Himalayan giants.
Days 5-6: Continue acclimatization with hikes above Namche. Training sessions on jump procedures. Evening briefings on weather and conditions.
Days 7-8: Trek to Syangboche (3,720m), the jump location. Final training and equipment checks. Explore the Everest View Hotel area and soak in the panorama.
Day 9 (Jump Day): Weather permitting, board the helicopter and climb to 23,000 feet. Make your tandem jump with Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam as your witnesses. Land at the drop zone and celebrate!
Day 10: Return trek to Lukla and flight back to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner and video premiere of your jump.
Board the high-altitude helicopter (AS 350 B3, the same used on Everest rescues) at Syangboche. Climb through the thin Himalayan air toward your exit altitude of 23,000 feet.
At these extreme altitudes, you'll use supplemental oxygen during the ascent and initial free fall. Your tandem instructor manages all technical aspects.
At 23,000 feet, the helicopter door opens. Before you: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam — the greatest mountain panorama on Earth. This is your moment.
Jump! Experience approximately one minute of free fall reaching speeds up to 200 km/h. The cold is intense, the views are beyond words, the adrenaline is off the charts.
The parachute deploys and you have 5-7 minutes of peaceful canopy flight. Take in 360° views of the Himalayas as you descend toward the drop zone.
Touch down at the designated landing zone. You've just completed the world's highest skydive. Champagne, hugs, and a lifetime of bragging rights await.
The price reflects the extreme logistics involved: high-altitude helicopter operations, international skydiving instructors, 10-day expedition costs, specialized equipment, and the very limited operating window. Only a few dozen people globally complete this jump each year.
No. All jumps are tandem, meaning you're harnessed to a professional instructor who handles all technical aspects. Your job is to enjoy the ride. However, if you have solo skydiving certification, experienced jumper programs are available.
The Everest Skydive has an excellent safety record. The primary risks are altitude-related, which is why the 10-day acclimatization program is crucial. All instructors are highly experienced in high-altitude jumps, and equipment is world-class.
The expedition includes weather contingency days. If conditions prevent jumping during your window, alternative dates are arranged when possible. Full refunds are provided only if the operator cancels due to conditions beyond control.
The Everest Skydive operates only in October-November and has very limited spots. We recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance. Contact us to check availability for upcoming seasons.
